H&M sent out a press release this morning that Sonia Rykiel will be the next guest designer to collaborate with them both in winter 2009 and spring 2010.
This collaboration marks the first time H&M has extended its designer collaboration to the world of lingerie and related accessories for women, with exclusive pieces to be launched in-store on December 5, 2009, as well as in Sonia Rykiel's major boutiques around the world.
The second collaboration for spring 2010 will launch on February 20, 2010 and will feature an "iconic knitwear" collection for women and girls (1.5 to 8 years old) as well as playful accessories.

She has an attitude that inspires admiration among women of all ages around the world. We loved the joyful chic of Sonia Rykiel’s 40th anniversary runway show – and in that spirit this collection is all about revelling in great lingerie for its own sake. This is a totally modern, new kind of lingerie look, and when we started to work together with Rykiel on it, we just couldn’t stop,” says H&M creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch. “It’s a wonderful highlight for our main collection.”
Surprising that H&M is doing another collaboration series so close to Jimmy Choo for H&M, but still exciting!
Last Friday was Teen Vogue's 7th annual Young Hollywood Party.
The event took place at MILK studios in Los Angeles, California.
Some of Tinsletown's hottest newcomers were in attendance, including Twilight hottie, Taylor Lautner, Disney's Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, Raven-Symone, and Aly Michalka, 90210's AnnaLynne McCord, Jessica Stroup and Jessica Lowndes, and Kelly Osbourne with fiance Luke Worrall.
The party kicked off with a runway show of D&G's Fall 2009/2010 collection, with a Rihanna soundtrack blaring in the background and finished off with a performance from the Noisettes.
"It's a comedy, which no one has really seen me do before. It might be a complete failure on my part. But the fact that I had to really put myself out there is totally different than being able to hide behind the magic of ILM [Industrial Light and Magic, which did special effects for Transformers]. That's no hiding from anything. There's nothing there to distract you from my performance. So if it's bad, it's going to be f*cking bad for me.
