Ke$ha rocks the "no pants" look at Erin Wasson

Yesterday, Ke$ha pulled a Gaga while attending Erin Wasson's RVCA show at New York Fashion Week.

"I have no ass, but I have pretty cool legs so I might as well just let it out," the "Tik Tok" singer told The Cut blog.

She also expressed her love for the glitter sprinkled all over her face. "Hell yeah! Glitter is everything. Glitter and hair and hairspray," she said. "I’m obsessed — I’m like, a glitter connoisseur. I buy it by the pound. I have like, secret sources of glitter. And then the only thing I’m a diva about on tour is like — I need at least a gallon of glitter a night."

What do you think of Ke$ha's look?

NYFW: Daniel Vosovic cast only Asian Models in his show

Image via people.com

Designer Daniel Vosovic launched his first official collection yesterday at Drive-In Studios as part of New York Fashion Week.

The Project Runway season two finalist made an impact by casting only Asian models.

However, the lack of diversity made things difficult.

"When we started to request show packages, honestly, I was appalled by the lack of options," he said. "I feel like we found fifteen amazing girls, but it was a freaking struggle. Some agencies just had no Asian girls. It just threw me for a curve. This is the first time I'm showing, and I feel like it was a huge awakening. You hear about it all the time, and then you're in the position to request it, and I'm like 'This is insane.'"

"It seems really funny that people have been casting all-white shows forever and that's never discussed," he added. "And it's like 'Why did you cast all white girls?' And I'm like, 'Well, that's what the designer wanted.'"

NYFW - Alexander Wang Spring/Summer 2010

I know it's a little late, but after watching footage from the show at my internship, I realized how genius Alexander Wang's Spring/Summer 2010 collection is.

The CFDA Swarovski award winner for womenswear is brilliant at creating simplistic, yet basic pieces that are still distinctly Wang.

This season's collection was very athletic-inspired, with grey hooded sweatshirts, football shoulders, "tighty whitey"-inspired dresses and varsity team jackets.

Also the models were sporting gorgeous, thick braids in their hair, a look that is very easy to mimic.

NYFW - Marchesa Spring 2010

One of my favourite collections from New York Fashion Week was by Marchesa.

Designer Georgina Chapman's Madame Butterfly theme for the line translated into beautiful, flowy dresses and structural counterparts. Origami cranes, kimonos, and a black and white dress with cut-out flowers added to the Japanese inspiration.

This collection was so exquisite, it took my breath away.

Lady Gaga performs at the Marc Jacobs and V magazine party!

The hottest party last night was the Lady Gaga and the launch of V61 event hosted by V magazine, Marc Jacobs and Belvedere Vodka in New York City.

The Lady channeled her inner Jesus, wearing a halo headpiece, and a white sheet. Underneath was a red lacy one-piece, that didn't leave much to the imagination. Divine!

Check out her acoustic piano performances of "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" below!

NYFW - Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2010

Marc Jacobs shows are always the most anticipated at New York Fashion Week.

That didn't change this year, but what most media outlets were tweeting about were the special celebrities who were attending the show: Lady Gaga, Madonna and Perez Hilton.

This was the first time that Gaga and Madonna had met.

Marc made a statement by putting all of his models in flats - yes, you heard right...no heels!

The collection was very fun, flirty and whimsical with Japanese references. The designer said he wanted to steer clear from the fall uniform of black and studs.

"If last season was a trip back in time to the eighties," he told style.com, "this was a trip to the theater, the ballet, the opera."

The Snuggie shows at New York Fashion Week

Image via nymag.com

Remember those days when you watched late-night infomercials when you had nothing better to do?

If so, you probably would have remembered the ad for the "Snuggie," the blanket with sleeves.

The Snuggie was normally one of those products that you have a good laugh at, or give to your friends as fun jokes (true story), but today, the makers of the Snuggie held their first-ever fashion show in the Park Avenue Hotel for New York Fashion Week.

Less than 20 people attended the exclusive event, and were presented with Snuggies in all sorts of vibrant colours, as well as various prints (think zebra, leopard, etc.) They even went as far as creating Snuggies for dogs for their Spring/Summer 2010 collection.

Guests were given a gift bag with a blue Snuggie with "Snuggie Fashion Show 2009" printed on it.

Thoughts on this?

Spotted: Megan Fox at TIFF

It's times like these that I love living in Toronto!

New York's not the only city hosting a special event. The city of Toronto is luring in the hottest celebrities for Toronto's International Film Festival.

Megan Fox was one of the many stars who was spotted in Hollywood North.

The 23-year-old Transformers star attended the premiere of her latest film, Jennifer's Body, in a black Valentino dress and Christian Louboutin pumps.

Stunning, as usual!

Gaga performing for Givenchy

Lady Gaga is taking over New York Fashion Week!

Rumours have been swirling for the past few weeks that Gaga will perform at Marc Jacobs' fashion week party.

Now, WWD is reporting that the eccentric songstress will be performing at the NYFW launch party for Givenchy's new men's fragrance, Play at The Box on September 15th.

The event is being hosted by Out magazine and organized by party planner Patrick Duffy. The Box plans to bring in a grand piano for the Lady so she can perform an acoustic set of her hit singles.

Can't wait to see the videos!
