Rihanna was in an abusive relationship with Chris Brown

Regarding the alleged attack Chris Brown made against Rihanna, apparently this isn't the first time the "Forever" singer has hit his girlfriend.

Here is the police report of what happened:

An argument erupted between the two after Brown received a text message from a woman who wrote about getting together. That's when Brown started hitting Rihanna.

She then ordered him to drive her home and "faked a call" to someone, saying things like, "He's dropping me off. Make sure the cops are there."

This fake call supposedly sent Brown over the edge, which led him to say something like, "You are really fu**ed up now. I'm going to kill you." This statement is the basis of the criminal threats charge.

At this point, Brown allegedly began his violent attack with his fists. Somehow, Rihanna was able to take the keys out of the ignition and threw them outisde.

That's when Brown fled the scene.

According to the police report, Rihanna told cops this was not the first town Brown hit her, and referred to it as an ongoing and escalating abusive relationship.

Whether or not Brown will be given the more serious charge of criminal threat is not sure, but it's almost certain that he will be charged with felony domestic battery, as the photos of Rihanna's injuries are said to be enough proof.
