This is just heartbreaking...
A picture is worth a thousand words, and Rihanna's face says it all.
A few weeks after receiving the alleged beating from her (hopefully soon to be ex) boyfriend, Chris Brown, the singer was photographed in Punta Mita, Mexico, where she is said to be spending time with her closest friends.
She has previously been spotted in Los Angeles and her native Barbados.
The photos surfed in the print edition of the New York Daily News.
The paper reports, "The shocking bruises that sources say boyfriend Chris Brown left on the songbird's face just before the Grammy Awards were not visible...Nor was she smiling."
Other than a few shots from the backseat of a car, this is the first time Rihanna has been photographed in public since the Feb. 8 altercation.
Brown on the other hand, has remained in seclusion, but is reportedly taking anger management classes in Glendale, Ca.
Last week, Rihanna broke the silence issuing a statement to her fans.
"At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown" says the statement from her rep. "She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time."
Let's hope her speedy recovery continues to go well, and that justice will soon be served!
