Fashion Rocks 08 - Rihanna does Vogue, OneRepublic performs with PCD, Chris Brown gets tired and music's favourite women stand up to cancer.

"Fashion Rocks" 2008 aired on CBS last night, and it was a fabulous show jam-packed with great fashion, entertaining performances, and sexy celebs.

The theme was significant eras in music and fashion, and several big-name artists channeled celebrities from a different generation.

Rihanna did an incredible performance of Madonna's "Vogue," clad in an outfit suitable for the Copa Cobana.

Beyonce performed as Etta James, singing "At Last," along with a motown mix with Justin Timberlake, Mary J Blige and Kid Rock. Fergie was Blondie, the Black Eyed Peas did the Rolling Stones (in the most incredible outfits!), Timbaland created a medley for OneRepublic, Chris Cornell, and the Pussycat Dolls, and Chris Brown sang Sam Cooke before singing his hit single, "Forever." He did so much dancing, that he seemed to run out of air at the end of the performance, but it was still well-done, nonetheless.

The special moment of the night though, was the closing performance. As a tribute to the "Stand Up for Cancer" campaign, fifteen of the hottest women in the music industry collaborated to sing a song called "Just Stand Up."

The song features vocals from Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood.

All the women sported a "Stand Up for Cancer" tee, but what I loved was that even though they were unified, they each wore the shirt their own way, to complement their own personal style.

All in all, the entire event was exciting, entertaining, and very fashion-forward.

Check out some of the performances below!

P.S. Did anyone see Taylor Momsen's apperance last night? Thoughts?
