Kristen Bell has just inked a deal With Neutrogena.

The 30-year-old Burlesque star will be the face of Neutrogena's new line of natural makeup called "Neutrogena Naturals."

“It is important to look at the bigger picture when it comes to daily choices as it really is all things including what you eat, how you spend your time, how much you exercise, what you put on your skin, I take pride in looking at everything and trying to live a well rounded lifestyle,” said Bell. 

Bell joins the ranks of Jennifer Garner, Hayden Panettiere, Vanessa Hudgens, and Emma Roberts as part of the Neutrogena family.

Chace Crawford to star in Footloose remake

Move over Kevin Bacon!

Paramount Pictures confirmed yesterday that Chace Crawford will star in the Footloose remake.

The Gossip Girl hunk was offered to play the lead role of Ren McCormack, after Zac Efron turned down the role in March.

"I want to grow a bit with the types of movies I want to make," Efron said in April. "It was more along the lines that I was looking for a new challenge, and this was another musical."

The film will be produced and directed by Kenny Ortega, who also directed High School Musical.

Hayden Panettiere, Amanda Bynes and Julianne Hough have also auditioned for the movie.

Footloose will begin shooting in March 2010.

Alicia Keys plays Michelle Obama

...and she does a much better job than Tyra!

As part of Glamour magazine's "American Icons" feature, the 28 year-old singer portrays First Lady, Michelle Obama.

Dressed in a blue dress, with two young girls, and of course, a puppy by her side, Alicia Keys embodies the First Lady's best traits, looking poised, elegant, and chic.

“She has worked hard for everything she’s accomplished, and done so with grace and humility. So many women and girls can identify with her story,” Keys told the magazine.

Other female celebrities taking part in this feature include Hayden Panettiere as Amelia Earhart, Emma Roberts as Audrey Hepburn, and Canadian actress Elisha Cuthbert as Brandi Chastain. Lindsay Lohan is also photographed as Madonna and America Ferrera as Dolores Huerta.

Hayden Panettiere for Dooney & Bourke

Designer handbag brand, Dooney & Bourke, have chosen Heroes actress, Hayden Panettiere to be their new "star handbag designer."

The 18-year-old tapped into her inner designer, and helped create the "Limited Edition Dooney & Bourke 'Hayden Panettiere' Designer Handbag."

"I wanted to do something people haven’t seen from Dooney & Burke before, so my bag is red patent leather,” said the actress.

The Hayden bag will go on sale in December and will retail for $500.

In Denial

A couple of days ago, Heroes star, Hayden Pannetiere's father, Alan, was arrested for domestic violence. He was later released on $50,000 bail.

It was reported that Alan got into an argument with wife, Leslie Pannetiere, and struck her three times in the face, leaving bruises.

Leslie called the police, who saw that she was visibly bruised.

Now, the two are trying to tame the story, and are claiming that it was all a "big misunderstanding," and that "nothing actually happened."

They even go as far as saying,, "Leslie wasn't even aware that [Alan] had been arrested," and that they "love each other very much and want everyone to know that the matter was completely blown out of proportion."

I know media image is very important to people, and they are probably trying to protect Hayden as well, but lying about something so serious is definitely wrong. We'll see how the story unfolds in the future!

Actress turned singer number 507.

Hayden Panettiere, the young actress in Heroes, has decided to focus on her singing career. Her first single was set to be digitally released on August 5, but was first played on Ryan Seacrest's radio show.

The song, called "Wake Up Call," will be promoted by Candies, who will absorb the "majority of the cost" of the single, which includes a music video, print campaign, and a multi-million dollar ad buy on cable and network TV.

If you recall, this is very similar to Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" video, where you see Fergie styled by Candies, and hanging up her Candies underwear to dry.

"Wake Up Call," is described as a "reggae-flavoured pop song" by Ken Bunt, a senior VP of marketing for Hollywood Records, the label that will be releasing her debut album in 2009.

The song isn't terrible, but nothing spectacular either. The style doesn't seem to really suit Hayden.
