Daisy Lowe opts for sheer dressing
Model Daisy Lowe attended the premiere of Disney's Alice in Wonderland in London today, wearing a purple lingerie set with a sheer black top and blazer.
Add the purple ribbon in her hair, with some thigh-high stockings, and voila! A way to sport underwear...but not quite as outerwear.
What do you think of Daisy's outfit?

Lily Allen ditching music for a career in fashion
Bad news for those of you who enjoy Lily Allen's music.
The British pop star has announced that she has decided to pursue a career in fashion. Although she does have experience designing, she won't be launching a celebrity clothing line. Instead, she's starting a vintage project called "Lucy in Disguise" with her sister, Sarah Owen.
The project will launch at the Vintage at Goodwood Festival in August. The event is the brainchild of the Red or Dead founder and designer, Wayne Hemmingway, and will be the first festival to fuse music, fashion, design and retail. The goal is to re-create "a unique 'retro' atmosphere from the 1940s through to the 80s," according to the Telegraph.
Allen is of course, no stranger to the fashion world, landing front-row seats at major fashion shows, and having recently starred in Chanel's Fall/Winter '09 campaign.
"To me, the idea of music and fashion being separate is just not possible – one can’t exist without the other," she told Style.com.

Lady Gaga to wear Armani and Prada on tour
Lady Gaga has gotten Armani and Prada to help dress her for her Monster Ball tour.
Giorgia Armani, who dressed Gaga for the Grammys, created four different looks, which WWD describes as two sparkly bodysuits, an iridescent mini-dress and a floor-length black patent trench coat. Armani also created custom shoes and sunglasses to go with each ensemble (see sketches above).
Prada created an 18th century-inspired hoop dress made of camel-colored ciré (a shiny plastic jersey blend).

Alexander McQueen laid to rest today
A private funeral service took place today for designer Alexander McQueen, who was found hanged in his London apartment two weeks ago.
The ceremony was intimate, with only McQueen's family and closest friends in attendance, including Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Stella McCartney and Daphne Guinness.
A larger memorial service open to McQueen fans is expected to take place later this year, but no date or venue has been confirmed.
Gucci Group president and CEO Robert Polet announced last week that McQueen's business will go on, and that the house will show the Fall 2010 collection at Paris Fashion Week on March 9th.

Lady Gaga pays homage to Alexander McQueen
Yesterday, Lady Gaga paid tribute to the late Alexander McQueen during her performance at the 2010 Brit Awards.
While singing an acoustic version of "Telephone," Gaga sang, "Sorry I cannot hear you, we miss you so bad, Lee."
She then told the audience, "This is for Alexander McQueen."
After "Telephone," Gaga performed "Dance in the Dark."
Gaga supposedly changed her planned performance for the awards ceremony, saying she was too upset about McQueen's death to perform as she had planned to.
According to the Sun, the singer felt that her usual fun performance would not reflect the sadness she is feeling at the moment.
Gaga walked away with three awards: International Breakthrough Act, International Female Solo Artist and Best International Album.
Check out her beautiful performance below, and tweet me your thoughts @TheChicSpot.

Ke$ha rocks the "no pants" look at Erin Wasson
Yesterday, Ke$ha pulled a Gaga while attending Erin Wasson's RVCA show at New York Fashion Week.
"I have no ass, but I have pretty cool legs so I might as well just let it out," the "Tik Tok" singer told The Cut blog.
She also expressed her love for the glitter sprinkled all over her face. "Hell yeah! Glitter is everything. Glitter and hair and hairspray," she said. "I’m obsessed — I’m like, a glitter connoisseur. I buy it by the pound. I have like, secret sources of glitter. And then the only thing I’m a diva about on tour is like — I need at least a gallon of glitter a night."

NYFW: Daniel Vosovic cast only Asian Models in his show
Designer Daniel Vosovic launched his first official collection yesterday at Drive-In Studios as part of New York Fashion Week.
The Project Runway season two finalist made an impact by casting only Asian models.
However, the lack of diversity made things difficult.
"When we started to request show packages, honestly, I was appalled by the lack of options," he said. "I feel like we found fifteen amazing girls, but it was a freaking struggle. Some agencies just had no Asian girls. It just threw me for a curve. This is the first time I'm showing, and I feel like it was a huge awakening. You hear about it all the time, and then you're in the position to request it, and I'm like 'This is insane.'"
"It seems really funny that people have been casting all-white shows forever and that's never discussed," he added. "And it's like 'Why did you cast all white girls?' And I'm like, 'Well, that's what the designer wanted.'"
