In the article, Jonas and Lovato interview each other...only to break up less than 48 hours later.

Miley covers Harper's Bazaar

Magazines are just loving the teen queens these days!

Miley Cyrus is the February cover girl for Harper's Bazaar magazine.

In the interview, the 17-year-old talks about growing up in the public eye ("Everything is so dramatic in this world"), the Vanity Fair scandal ("Here, my parents are thinking they're seeing a beautiful picture by a major photographer, and the people of America want to see something dirty in that?"), being a role model ("My job is to be a role model, and that's what I want to do, but my job isn't to be a parent"), and, of course, fashion ("I thought it was so cool when girls would ask me, What's your shirt? And I'm like, Hanes, but I have $60,000 worth of jewelry on top of it!").

Selena Gomez launches a fashion line

Well, we already know that she has been deemed a Style Ingenue, so it only makes sense that Selena Gomez is joining the ranks of her fellow Disney stars and launching her own fashion line.

The line will be called Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez and will be "pretty, feminine and bohemian," which Gomez says reflects her own personal style.

“Growing up in Texas, I was sort of close-minded and kind of a tomboy, but as I’ve traveled, I found such a love of clothes,” said the 17-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star. “It’s really always been a dream of mine to have a line.”

To start, the line will be a full sportswear collection for fall 2010 selling — Boho dresses, floral printed tops, jeans, skirts, jackets and some accessories such as scarves and hats. Most of the collection is made in an organic soft cotton and all fabrics are recycled or eco-friendly in some way, which was important to Gomez. All items within the collection are made to be mixed and matched, even with the ability to mix prints.

Helping Gomez with the collection is Tony Melillo and Sandra Campos of Cynosure Holdings, a licensing and branding company geared specifically to help grow and sell celebrity labels.

“She has such a good sense of what she likes and what she doesn’t like,” said Melillo, who is the creative director for the Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez line. “It was surprising as I’ve never worked with someone so young, and never really expected her to be that smart. She has a desire to be involved, and nothing is sent out there without her approval. It’s nice to see her have this genuine interest.”

Hilary Duff's DKNY ad

Here is your first look for Hilary Duff's Fall 2009 DKNY line called Femme for DKNY Jeans.

The ad was shot by photographer Scott "The Sartorialist" Schuman.

"I wanted to do a really smart line, like jeans that have lots of multiple sizes of belt loops so you can wear any kind of belt with it and it still kind of looks cool, or jeans that have a spot for suspenders to hook on if you want to let them hang down. Or burn-out T-shirts with fringe on them and little, like, shrunken leather jackets and vests. What are some of the other things we did? We did some images with poppies on them, because I was into poppies at the time. And I wanted to do, like, necklaces attached to shirts but that girls can take off and wear in a different way, and the same with scarves," the singer and actress told The Cut blog back in February.

Miley Cyrus tries to prove once again that she's "all grown-up," this time on the cover of Elle magazine's August 2009 issue.

Along with baring some cleavage, the 16-year-old Hannah Montana star dishes on designing with Max Azria, and her bonding with fellow Disney stars, Demi Lovato and ex-boyfriend, Nick Jonas.

On her new clothing line with Max Azria for Wal-Mart:

“The jeans are my favorite part of the entire line. Because, like, literally this is going to be good for, like, Middle America, and it will be great for kids that really want to be in fashion but that don't have it available.”

On the difficulties of being a teen star:

“It's hard for all of us. There are so many people that could be using you. So me and Nick and Demi, we don't need anything from each other. We got our own thing going on.”

Kevin Jonas is engaged!

Sad news for all you Jonas fans.

One of the beloved brothers is ready to officially take himself off the market...until death do him part.

Kevin Jonas, the eldest of the brothers, proposed to longtime girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa, Wednesday morning.

After arriving in New Jersey on an overnight flight from a concert in Vancouver, the 21-year-old showed up at his girlfriend's doorstop, dropped down to his knee and asked her to marry him, presenting her with a self-designed ring from Jacob & Co (pictured above).

"She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row," Kevin told People magazine. "It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world."

His parents, Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. said, "Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage. Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family's celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support."

Younger brothers Joe and Nick tweeted, "Congrats big brother.....Dani welcome to the family, we can't wait to have you join us on the road!"

Hilary Duff to appear on Gossip Girl

Nooo!

Former Disney star, Hilary Duff, is set to appear in several upcoming episodes of Gossip Girl.

The 21-year-old actress/singer/designer will be playing Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at New York University for a traditional college experience.

Blair (Leighton Meester), Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr), will also be attending NYU, so expect some major drama.

Olivia will be rooming with Vanessa, and Dan supposedly wants to hook up with her.

Duff expressed in December that she is a Gossip Girl fan, and that her favourite character is Chuck Bass.

“I don’t know why, because he’s so bad and terrible,” Duff said. “He is so sad that I feel bad for him."

Hilary Duff will debut on Gossip Girl in this season's fourth episode, October 5.

Adam Shankman posted the above pictures of Miley Cyrus on Twitter earlier today.

The photos are of Cyrus "fooling around" in her dresing room on the set of her new movie, The Last Song in Georgia.

Unfortunately for the Hannah Montana star, the photos were deemed controversial, much to Shankman's surprise.

"Miley is a sweet angel who works tirelessly and endlessly, and is allowed to have fun in the make up room! Seriously! Lighten up or no more behind the scenes pics! She's like my angel little sister," tweeted Shankman.

We say: She's 16, she wants to have fun, and she can't help it if she's an attention wh*re!

Miley Cyrus and Max Azria sign a deal with Wal-Mart

This is probably one of the most bizarre collaborations I have heard of.

Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus, is teaming up with Max Azria, chairman, designer and chief executive officer of the BCBG Max Azria Group (BCBG, Hervé Léger), to create a clothing line for Wal-Mart.

The line, which is aimed towards younger teens, is called Miley Cyrus and Max Azria, and will include tops, pants, graphic tees and shoes, all for under $20.

This isn't Wal-Mart's first celebrity collaboration, with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's tween fashion line, Hilary Duff's Stuff by Hilary Duff, and most recently, a line of cami dresses by Taylor Swift called L.E.I. by Taylor Swift.

Cyrus has been spotted wearing Hervé Léger by Max Azria in April to the U.K. premiere of Hannah Montana: The Movie, and for the 2009 Grammy Awards, but I can't seem to fathom why such a big-name designer would collaborate with a popstar who isn't so fashion-conscious.

I guess everyone wants a piece of Miley!

The collection will hit Wal-Mart stores and walmart.com in early August.

MTV Movie Awards 2009 Trend: The Caged Heel

One of the hottest trends this summer is the caged heel.

This sexy shoe was most notably seen on Yves Saint Laurent's Spring 2009 runway, and has made its way to mass retail stores everywhere, including Topshop and Aldo.

But beware: this shoe is not safe for those with foot fetishes!

The caged heel made several appearances at the MTV Movie Awards 2009 being sported on some of Hollywood's hottest young stars right now. Some opted for more dramatic versions, while others more subtle.

Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez and Twilight hunk, Taylor Lautner have been getting pretty cozy lately.

The pair were spotted together on Sunday in Vancouver, Canada, going out for sushi.

Gomez is currently filming her new film, Ramona and Beezus in Vancouver, while Lautner is working on New Moon.

They make a cute couple!

Just when I thought Miley Cyrus was beginning to understand the concept of dressing in age-appropriate, flattering clothing, she sported this Dolce and Gabanna dress the the Paris premiere of Hannah Montana: The Movie.

The pattern is way too old for her, the cinching below the bust makes her appear wider than she actually is, the length diminishes her height, and the sequined collar makes her look like she has no neck!

The 16-year-old Hannah Montana star wore an Hervé Léger dress to the UK premiere of Hannah Montana: The Movie at the Odeon, Leicester Square yesterday.

P.S. Miley and fellow Disney star/once enemy, Demi Lovato have been sharing their love for each other on Twitter (Miley posted the photo below, tweeting, "I truly love @ddlovato!!!! Thank u for being such a great friend :))) ps we totally rocked matching dresses"). Selena Gomez and Mandy Jiroux must be jealous!

Jonas Brothers to release a clothing line

Along with being extremely popular for their music and of course, their looks, the Jonas Brothers are also known for their fashion sense.

Now, Kevin, Nick and Joe will be adding a full sportswear line for teens to add to their growing franchise of music, film and books.

The line, called Jonas, will be sold in mass retailers such as Wal-Mart, Kmart, Sears and J.C. Penny in time for back-to-school shopping and will retail from $9.99 to $24.99.

The brothers have no input in the design, as the collection is based on their wardrobes in their new Disney Channel show, "Jonas," which will be airing in May.

The preppy line includes argyle sweater vests, woven tops, T-shirts, polo shirts, leggings, denim skirts and jeans.

“The Jonas Brothers are a lifestyle, not just a boy band,” Jane Buckingham, president of market research firm Intelligence Group told WWD. “Their movie lets you into their world, and the clothing line is just another way to do that; it’s a way to get closer to them and their world.”

Nick and Selena...together no more!

Nick Jonas is finally publicly talking about his love life, and revealed that he is no longer with Selena Gomez!

Recently on The Insider, a Jonas Brothers fan asked the three heartthrobs if they were dating anyone.

Both Joe and Kevin replied with "no comment," but Nick admitted that he is single.

The brothers also made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, and Letterman was able to get them to open up about their past relationships.

On his ex-girlfriend, Miley Cyrus, Nick said, "We went on tour with Miley. Again, going back to the ups and downs, I think that I was 14, so it's, you know, I was pretty young, so I think you can just consider it a young little relationship."

Poor Selena, I guess she'll be hanging out with Miley and Taylor Swift, two other ex-Jonas love interests, very soon!

I wonder which Disney star Nick will date next?
