Video Premiere: Beyonce feat. Lady Gaga - Video Phone (Extended Mix)
Here's the just-released video of Beyonce's "Video Phone" featuring Lady Gaga!
Is it just me, or did Beyonce look a LOT like Rihanna in this video? And that pin-up/ghetto look made her look a bit like Lil' Mama.
It was definitely nice to see a different side of Gaga though!
What do you think of the vid?

Lady Gaga and Beyonce collaborating!
It has been confirmed that Beyonce and Lady Gaga are shooting a music video for a remix of "Video Phone" together!
An insider revealed exclusively to Life&Style:
Can't wait to see the video!
What do you think of the collaboration?
An insider revealed exclusively to Life&Style:
Lady Gaga and Beyoncé were working on the video together at a studio in NYC. Everything on the set was being kept very hush-hush, and security was extremely tight. In the video Beyoncé wears a feathered dress. And of course Lady Gaga wears something wild. The fashion is sick and insane.
Can't wait to see the video!
What do you think of the collaboration?

Abercrombie & Fitch sues Beyonce, over "Fierce"
Sasha Fierce clearly didn't see this one coming!
Beyoncé recently announced that she plans to launch a fragrance next spring. She of course, wanted to name the scent "Fierce."
But, Abercrombie & Fitch claims that they've been selling a "Fierce" fragrance since 2002, you know, that one that suffocates you upon entering their store. They fear that Beyoncé's planned fragrance "poses a likelihood of confusion" for customers.
So, they've decided to sue her.
The lawsuit seeks to halt potential trademark infringement, unfair competition and deceptive trade practices.
Kind of ridiculous, don't you think?

MTV VMAs 2009 - Recap!
Last night's MTV VMAs did not fail to shock, surprise and impress.
Highlights from the night included Madonna's speech in memory of the late Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson's tribute performance, Lady Gaga's outrageous "Paparazzi" number, Pink's circus acts, Beyonce's "Single Ladies" anthem, and Lil' Mama jumping onstage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' closing number.
But the most memorable moment of the night was when Taylor Swift won the award for "Best Female Video." As the 19-year-old was making her acceptance speech, Kanye West ran up on stage, grabbed the microphone from her, and said, "Now Taylor, I'm really happy for you, Ima let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time."
Later in the evening, Beyonce was awarded "Video of the Year," and called Swift up to the stage to "have her moment."
"I remember being 17 years old up for my first MTV award with Destiny's Child, and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So I'd like for Taylor to come out and have her moment," said the "Single Ladies" singer.
Swift came out from backstage and said, "Maybe we can try this again. I would really like to thank Roman White, who directed the video, and Lucas Till for being in it," Swift said. "I would like to thank all the fans on Twitter and MySpace and everyone that came out to my shows this summer. And I would like to thank my little brother's high school for letting us shoot there."
Since then, Kanye has spoken out about the incident on his official blog:
"I'M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD'VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED! I LIKE THE LYRICS ABOUT BEING A CHEERLEADER AND SHE'S IN THE BLEACHERS! …………………… I'M IN THE WRONG FOR GOING ON STAGE AND TAKING AWAY FROM HER MOMENT!…………….. BEYONCE'S VIDEO WAS THE BEST OF THIS DECADE!!!! I'M SORRY TO MY FANS IF I LET YOU GUYS DOWN!!!! I'M SORRY TO MY FRIENDS AT MTV. I WILL APOLOGIZE TO TAYLOR 2MRW. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!!!! EVERYBODY WANNA BOOOOO ME BUT I'M A FAN OF REAL POP CULTURE!!! NO DISRESPECT BUT WE WATCHIN' THE SHOW AT THE CRIB RIGHT NOW CAUSE … WELL YOU KNOW!!!! I'M STILL HAPPY FOR TAYLOR!!!! BOOOYAAAWWWW!!!! YOU ARE VERY VERY TALENTED!!! I GAVE MY AWARDS TO OUTKAST WHEN THEY DESERVED IT OVER ME… THAT'S WHAT IT IS!!!!!!! I'M NOT CRAZY YALL, I'M JUST REAL. SORRY FOR THAT!!! I REALLY FEEL BAD FOR TAYLOR AND I'M SINCERELY SORRY!!! MUCH RESPECT!!!!!
Swift also spoke out, saying,
"Well, I was standing on stage because I was really excited because I had just won the award. And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn't so excited anymore after that.
"I've been getting so many text messages and everybody's been really nice. So I've had a really, really fun night. It's been interesting definitely. It's definitely been an interesting night.
"I don't know him, and I've never met him, so… I don't want to start anything because I had a great night tonight."
Many other artists have sided with Swift including Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Donald Trump, Spencer Pratt and Heid Montag.

Freida Pinto signs with L'Oréal
It was bound to happen sooner or later!
Although there was buzz that Estée Lauder was going to snatch her, Slumdog Millionaire star, Freida Pinto, has been signed as one of the new faces of L'Oréal.
“I am very moved to be joining the great L'Oréal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of,” said the 24-year-old Indian beauty in a statement.
Pinto will be joining numerous other stars who have modeled for the beauty brand, including Beyoncé, Penelope Cruz and Eva Longoria.

Dancing with the Stars does the Single Ladies dance!
On this week's episode of Dancing with the Stars the contestants split up into two different teams to compete against each other. The team's scores will count as half of their judges scores in the upcoming elimination.
Team Mambo consisted of Olympic gold medalist, Shawn Johnson and her partner Mark Ballas, The Bachelor's Melissa Rycroft and her partner Tony Dovolani and country singer Chuck Wicks and his partner/girlfriend Julianne Hough. Unfortunately, Melissa was unable to perform due to an injury, so professional dancer Lacey Schwimmer filled in.
Team Tango had actor Gilles Marini and his partner Cheryl Burke, rapper Lil' Kim and her partner Derek Hough and rodeo champion and husband to Jewel, Ty Muray and his partner Chelsie Hightower.
Although the judges deemed Team Tango the winer, I definitely preferred Team Mambo's dance to "Single Ladies" by Beyonce.
Check it out below!
P.S. Mark Ballas in tights > Justin Timberlake in tights!

Obama's version of "Single Ladies"
This actually made me laugh out loud!
Ever since watching the SNL parody of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" music video, I have been obsessed with any other version that has popped up on the internet (for example, this little girl, and of course, Shane Mercado on the Bonnie Hunt Show).
Of course, this would have been funnier if it was actually Mr. President himself, but it's nonetheless pretty awesome!
Enjoy!
