Well, he's scored his own record deal!
Jason Castro has signed with Atlantic Records and will release his debut album later this year.
The album will feature tracks written by Kara DioGuardi, the newest judge on American Idol, and Grammy award-winning songwriter John Fields.
I wonder what Simon thinks of this!
