FIRST LOOK: Chanel's "Boy" Bag Collection - Fall 2011
To all the 2.55 fans out there...you may have a new Chanel bag to covet!
The brand is releasing a new line of handbags this fall. Based on the hunting cartridge style originally carried by Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel herself, the Chanel Boy bags are made to embody the androgynous charm the designer was known for.
“Chanel used men’s underwear to make dresses; she had this boyish attitude, in fact it is the very spirit of Chanel. She got it from Boy Capel, the great love of her life, which, incidentally, explains why the new bag is called the Boy Chanel,” Karl Lagerfeld explains of his inspiration.
The glazed calfskin clutches, purses and totes will be available in a red, grey and ivory, and will range from $2500 to $4300.
Quote of the Day
"I don't worry about what other people think about my clothes—I want to be me. And that's just a little weird. I think it's a compliment when people give me strange looks or say that I dress 'uniquely.'"
- 13-year-old Elle Fanning to Teen Vogue.

Justin Bieber is releasing a fragrance
...and no doubt it will be flying off the shelves.
Justin Bieber will be releasing a new fragrance called Someday in the fall. The scent will be a blend of fruity floral notes.
"Let’s be real, the way a girl smells is very important to a guy!" the Biebs told WWD. "I have such a deep connection with my fans, so creating a fragrance that I personally love is another way I can bring them closer to my world."
But before you start rolling your eyes (weren't the Bieber OPI nail polishes bad enough?), there is an upside to this celebrity fragrance: it will partner with Giving Back Brands, and donate a portion of sales to Pencils of Promise, and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Terry Richardson will be shooting the campaign, and rumours are floating that Dree Hemingway will star.
The fragrance will range from $35-$55, depending on the size, and a hair mist is also among the offerings, because let's be serious, the Biebs is all about the hair.

Quote of the Day
"I'm itching like a heroin addict trying to get back on stage. I can't wait. I'm planning on launching a new tour by the end of this year, if not, the beginning of next. I'll never do a smaller show. It's got to be bigger, bigger, more epic, more of an opus. I don't care where I am in the world, theatrics are part of who I am. I don't do it big for the sake of it. It will always be more me and more of an extension of what I've created. I always want the crowd to feel more liberated than when they first walked in."
- Lady Gaga on her next tour.
