Last week, Lady Gaga pre-recorded her performance on American Idol, which aired last night.
Gaga performed an acoustic rendition of "Bad Romance" followed by her latest single, "Alejandro" wearing an outfit designed by Giorgio Armani.
However, after the performance aired, Gaga tweeted, "FOX POORLY + AMATEURLY edited+cut my performance/musical arrangement on idol. Watch real version."

Adam Lambert's performance at the American Music Awards last night.
The American Idol Season 8 runner-up caused a stir when he included crotch-grabbing, a simulated oral-sex scene, and made out with another guy.
According to ABC, over 1500 people have called to complain about the performance.
Lambert's response?
"You know honestly, if I offended some people… it's apples and oranges. I'm not an artist that does things for every single person. I believe in artistic freedom and expression, I believe in honoring the lyrics of a song, and those lyrics aren't really for everybody either.
"There's a big double standard, female pop artists have been doing things provocative like that for years, and the fact that I'm a male, and I'll be edited and discriminated against could be a problem.
"People are scared and it's really sad, I just wish people could open their minds up and enjoy things, it's all for a laugh, it's really not that big of a deal."
It was announced today that Victoria Beckham will not renew her one-year Armani underwear contract because she wants to focus on her design career.
The former Spice Girl will be showing her spring 2010 collection at New York Fashion Week.
In other Posh news, it has been confirmed that Beckham will replace Paula Abdul as a judge on the upcoming season of American Idol, but it will be a guest slot only.
Stills of Cobra Starship's latest track, "Good Girls Go Bad" featuring Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester have been leaked!
The concept of the video is that Meester runs an underground speakeasy, while the band is in charge of the above-ground deli that is meant to distract from the club below. In order to gain access to this club, customers must order the correct sandwich.
Originally, the band recorded the song with American Idol judge and co-writer, Kara DioGuardi, but then Cobra Starship decided they wanted to collaborate with Meester.
"I had heard that Leighton was working on a record and I really, really, really wanted to do a song with her, because I'm a big superfan of hers," said frontman Gabe Saporta. He remembered thinking, "['Good Girls'] would be perfect for Leighton because it's already kind of her character in 'Gossip Girl,' like the perfect girl with the bad streak."
Meester immediately liked the track, and told MTV News, "I thought, 'I need to get on that! It totally is my sound too. Really fun to dance to it. Very edgy and cool."

Taylor Swift looked stunning at the 2009 American Music Awards in an Angel Sanchez gown. The 19-year-old country star won album of the year for her latest album, Fearless.
Dancing with the Stars' Julianne Hough ripped her Zuhair Murad dress on the way the podium to accept her award for Top New Artist, but took it gracefully telling the audience, "It's a good thing I ripped my dress because now I have something else to think about!" The 20-year-old also won the award for Top Female Vocalist.
But American Idol season four winner Carrie Underwood stole the spotlight in her extravagant crimson gown as she took the stage to perform her hit single, "I Told You So."
On the worst dressed list was American Idol season five contestant, Kellie Pickler, also in a Zuhair Murad gown, but not as flattering as Julianne's. Miley Cyrus also topped the list in a bland Monique Lhullie gown and open toed heels. You're only 16 Miley, there's no need to dress like you're 25!
The former American Idol contestant, Clay Aiken will be a guest judge on America's Next Top Model.
A rep. for the show confirmed that the 30-year-old singer will be featured on the April 8th episode, working with the aspiring models in an acting challenge.
Even though Aiken's been performing in Spamalot on broadway, he's seems kind of unqualified for the job. This seems more like Tyra Banks getting one of her friends on the show. America’s Next Top Model’s twelfth cycle premieres on Wednesday, February 25.
After performing at the Bambi Awards in Germany, Britney also performed "Womanizer" at a taping of Star Academy (France's version of American Idol) and of X-Factor (UK's version) within the same week.
The pop princess performed the same routine, to the same remix, with only a few tweaks and a different wardrobe.

I guess the producers of American Idol knew they needed to shake things up a bit in order to keep interest of the public!
Idol is set to have a fourth judge for its eighth season in January of next year.
Joining Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson, is grammy-nominated songwriter, Kara DioGuard. She is the woman responsible for writing songs for Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion, Pink, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, along with Idol alumni Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson.
“We are turning the heat up on Idol this year and are thrilled to welcome Kara to the judges’ table,” said Simon Fuller, the creator of the show. “She is a smart, sassy lady, and one of America’s most successful songwriters. We know she will bring a new level of energy and excitement to the show.”
A fourth judge on the show isn't a new idea, as the producers have always intended to add one more person to the mix.
“We’ve seen from our international series that having a fourth judge creates a dynamic that benefits both the contestants and the viewers,” said executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz.
The producers are also hoping that by adding another female to the panel, there will be a lot more "girl power" on the show.
Wonder what Paul thinks of this! This is probably the first step in kicking her out!
It was the battle of the Davids this week for American Idol Season 7.
David Archuleta, the cute, 17-year-old from Murray, UT, was a fan favourite since day one. He won us over with his brilliant vocals, and especially with his memorable performance of "Imagine."
David Cook, the 25-year-old rocker from Blue Springs, MO was undoubtedly one of the biggest risk-takers ever to appear on the show. His genius renditions of "Billie Jean" and "Always be my Baby," to name a few, proved to America that he was not only a musician, but a true artist.
My bets were on Archuleta, based on the large fan base he seemed to have...but the winner by a shocking 12 million votes was David Cook.
The finale was filled with the famous faces of Hollywood, as well as Idol alumni.
Paula Abdul looked stunning in a bright red gown, Simon Cowell was dressed in the same white shirt and black blazer as the night before, and Randy Jackson had some strange red and white blazer going on, that I'm sure, if worn by any of the contestants, would have been harshly criticized by Simon.
There were notable performances by Carrie Underwood, who looked stunning in a white blazer worn as a dress,Jordin Sparks, who looked not as stunning with an unflattering gold dress, the Jonas Brothers, cute and stylish as always, George Michael wearing his sunglasses at night...and inside!, and Bryan Adams, to name a few.
As always, the contestants had the opportunity to perform with their own idols. Cook chose ZZ Top, a band that I had no idea existed, and whose lead singer reminded me of Cousin IT from The Adams Family. Archuleta chose OneRepublic, and joined Ryan Tedder in singing "Apologize." Archuleta arguably sang better than Tedder.
