Nicole Richie is a supermom!
Along with designing her jewelry collection, House of Harlow, she has signed on to create and model a line of maternity clothes for A Pea in the Pod called "Nicole."
"Pea in the Pod is such a known company for pregnant women," said Richie. "They carry great lines, and so when they asked me to create a line for them, I was really excited and eager to do it.”
Pregnant with her second child with Joel Madden, Richie is especially considerate of her customers. “You really feel like you have to change your whole wardrobe. And that’s the last thing a woman wants to go through. So I really tried to make this line to get women excited about wearing clothes.”
The line embodies Richie's signature boho look, consisting of peasant tops, layering tees, flowing maxidresses and braided details.
“It feels great to see everything come to life. It’s the best feeling in the world to have your visions and dreams coming together. I’m so excited for people to see them. I just hope that people like it.”
“Nicole”, the exclusive collection for A Pea in the Pod will hit stores on Friday, with prices ranging from $48 for tank tops to $148 to maxidresses.
