Milan Fashion Week - DSquared² Spring/Summer 2010

I'm not a big fan of camping. Actually, I really hate it. I'm not as in touch with nature as I should be, and the idea of wearing sweatpants and Hunter boots for an extended period of time just disturbs me.

However, thanks to fellow Canadians Dan and Dean Caten, the designers of DSquared², I may just give in next time my friend invites me camping, as long as I can wear some of their outfits from their Spring/Summer 2010 collection.

Who knew camping attire could be so chic?

Check out the looks below!

Milan Fashion Week - Fall 2009 RTW

I was more impressed with the collections from Milan in comparison to London, but I fell in love with only a select few. Here are my favourite looks (click to enlarge):

Alessandro Dell'Acqua - Italian elegance at its best

Blue Marine - The bold patterns, bright colours and
vibrant runway was a nice contrast to all the muted
colours from other designers.

D&G - A night at the opera.

Dolce & Gabbana - My absolute favourite collection.
I found the clothing so beautiful, it was difficult
to narrow down which ones I liked the best.

DSquared2 - Dan and Dean Caten do Canada proud!
They accessorized their flirty looks with a fashionista's
favourite items: Starbucks, iPhones and tabloids.

Emporio Armani - Giorgio made his looks appealing
to both the young and the old.

DSquared2 to dress Britney for her Circus tour!

Image via daylife.com

WWD is reporting today that designers Dean and Dan Caten of DSquared2 have designed the costumes for Britney Spears's upcoming Circus tour!

The twin designers from Canada are no strangers to big-named celebrities; they sent Rihanna down their runway a few years ago, and have appeared in Fergie's "Clumsy" video.

The pair is said to have "reinterpreted clowns, trapeze artists and jugglers into a series of provocative looks for Spears and her dancers."

“We are enormous fans of Britney, and have been waiting for the perfect moment to collaborate with her,” the two told the paper. “It’s going to be wild.”

Britney's tour kicks off this Tuesday in New Orleans.

Can't wait to see how the costumes turn out!

Milan Fashion Week: Spring '09 - Dsquared²

Dsquared² unveiled a very wearable collection in Milan this week. Crisp oxford shirts and wide-leg jeans were staples of the collection, and were accessorized with scarves, hats, sunglasses, and more specifically, a red bomber jacket. The collection also featured sexy swimwear, flowy, full-length dresses, and a few looks for men.

Another fabulous collection from two of my favourite designers!
