Taylor Swift gets a deal with CoverGirl

Country sweetheart Taylor Swift has been named the newest face of CoverGirl cosmetics.

Joining the ranks of Rihanna, Drew Barrymore and Ellen Degeneres, the 20-year-old will front the line's still-untitled luxury collection.

“I am so excited to become the next CoverGirl,” Swift said in a statement. “I have admired many of the CoverGirls since I was a little girl… great artists and actresses who are confident and still themselves. It’s like a dream come true to be a part of the future of CoverGirl.”

Swift's ads will be released in January.

Talk-show host, Ellen Degeneres' much anticipated CoverGirl ads have finally been revealed!

Ellen's face will be the focus of the new print and television ads of CoverGirl and Olay's newest product, Simply Ageless Foundation, an anti-aging makeup taht stays susended over fine lines and wrinkles, instead of settling in.

“I’m thrilled to be a CoverGirl,” said Ellen. “I’ve been practicing in my bathroom mirror for years…Now finally, you’ll all be able to see it.”

The ads will start in January 2009.

Miley Cyrus appeared on the Ellen Degeneres Show where she was grilled with questions about her rumoured boyfriend, Justin Gaston.

The 15-year-old Hannah Montana could not stop giggling and fidgeting when Ellen talked about 20-year-old Gaston.

Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi are said to be getting married TONIGHT at their Beverly Hills estate!

The ceremony is supposed to be very intimate, with only 20 guests, but a high profile performer is going to make an appearance (Mariah Carey, perhaps?)

Portia is supposedly wearing Zac Posen.
