Paris Fashion Week Spring '09: Sonia Rykiel

Sonia Rykiel's show on Wednesday night was a fun and celebration. The dinner and show party was a tribute to her 40 years as a distinctively Parisienne designer, and her clothing was a representation of her recognizable style.

The collection was true to Parisian wear, with plenty of sequined berets, poufy skirts, ruffled dresses, hints of Moulin Rouge, and of course, lots of black and white.

After her collection was unveiled, Sonia's daughter Nathalie announced, "A birthday without a surprise isn't a birthday. You've been inspiring the world of fashion for 40 years; here's your present. Bon anniversaire, Maman."

Thirty more models came out in Sonia Rykiel looks designed by some of the biggest names in fashion, such as Karl Lagerfeld, Roberto Cavalli, Michael Kors, Diane von Furtsenberg, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Vivienne Westwood.

Image via usmagazine.com

Aww... I love it when on-screen couples end up together in real life!

Actors Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum are engaged, confirms Dewan's rep to Usmagazine.com.

The two met in 2005 while playing each other's love interests in the hit movie, Step Up.

Guaranteed their children will be amazing dancers!

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Now, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling...please get married already!

The adventures of Bruno: Chapter 3

Bruno strikes again! Sacha Baron Cohen's alter ego made an extravagant appearance at Jean-Charles de Castelbajac's show in Paris this morning. Bruno leapt to the catwalk to pass a note to a model, before heading backstage to cause chaos.

He sure knows how to keep the fashion world on their toes! This is the third time he's stirred up some trouble! First he walked the runway at Agatha Ruiz de la Prada's show in Milan, and then, he showed up at Stella McCartney's show in Paris yesterday.

Paris Fashion Week Spring '09: Balmain

Christophe Decarnin is pure genius. His spring '09 collection for his line, Balmain is absolutely fabulous. The distressed, acid-washed jeans, military, Michael Jackson-esque jackets, studded accessories, and sexy dresses are definitely going to influence my wardrobe decisions!

Major Gossip Girl Spoiler!

After stealing the spotlight at Eleanor Waldorf's show Monday night, little Jenny Humphrey will be staging a show of her own!

And this will all be happening next Monday!

Can't wait!!

Thanks, Fashionista!
